Every night from 8pm it's the Ultra Fantastico 80s Party. Extended and remixed 12" versions of the big 80s hits.Ultra Fantastico can often be heard broadcasting overnight and on Sundays as a simulation of a retro medium wave radio station. This is based on a questionable fondness for the warm, nostalgic sound of pop music broadcast in mono on AM radio. Exactly as millions of people used to hear new music on the radio - such as national BBC Radio 1 - in the UK before FM became more common during the 1980s.
